Reacting and responding to negativity can weigh heavy on you. Sometimes, you just have to realize that the comments made are not a reflection of you but a reflection of the person who said it.

What Season Are You In?

SPRINGIn the natural, we have stepped into a season of spring. What is meant to bloom every year has started greening. A little life is appearing in what looked seemed to be dead. Some are planting newness, which will need to be cultivated until it buds. That explains the natural transition, but in the spiritual realm, what season are you in? Is it your season to plant, to bloom, to shed off the old, or to rest in the winter cold and wait for your spring season to come around?

Ecc 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

Know your season and know your purpose. If you plant in the winter, your seed will die. If you try to gather the harvest too early, it will die as well. Every purpose has a set time. Don’t rush and don’t move too late. Keep Seeking God and be productive in the kingdom!

Don’t Lose Hope!

completely-hopeful-orlando-espinosa1

Rom 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

The worst situation ever, and you are right in the middle of it. Have you really taken the time to think about how crazy you look believing that God is going to fix your problem. All of your friends are telling you to walk away. People on the outside looking in are telling to just quit and move on. The world is saying you are a fool. But that little bitty voice on the inside is saying, “Hang in there. There is still hope.”

The scripture says hope maketh not ashamed. You don’t have time to see how embarrassing the situation is when all you can see is the end result. You understand that the situation you are in is only temporary. You understand that in order to get where you are going, there are going to be some let downs and setbacks. You understand that your faith is the only thing you have left to hold on to when your whole world has been flipped upside down. Don’t worry about those who are judging you and your situation. They may never understand your walk, but when God restores everything you lost, they will believe!

1 Cor 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

There is nothing wrong with having hope! The world needs something to hope for. When people lose their hope, they lose their faith. When they lose their faith they start losing the desire to live. Find something to hope for and to believe in. Hope in Jesus. Believe in Jesus! Have faith in Jesus! He is our hope! And I hope you have a blessed day. Don’t be ashamed of your circumstances. They will get better.

We Have Work To Do!

6c1651151add089d1149567655259903I have been thinking about God and how many people in the world believe in God. The troublesome thought was how the same people don’t believe his word. Many people go to church and have heard the word, but there is a thin line between hearing the truth and knowing the truth. Just because you hear it doesn’t mean you know it. Sadly, that is the state that many people are in. They believe in God, have read or heard his word, but have not accepted it as truth. People of God, we have such a great task ahead of us. We cannot be discouraged by those who reject the word. We can’t be angry because people don’t want to hear the word. The only thing we are responsible for is living the word, teaching the truth, and loving with an unconditional love. Once you release the word of truth, trust God’s plan and watch him work.

Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

When God sends his word out, it will accomplish the mission it is sent to do. We just get anxious because we don’t see the results right away. God does not bluff. He speaks and it is so. So, while you are on your mission at work, at school or even in the grocery store…release the word that God gives you. It may be something simple like, “Jesus loves you.” If he sends you with a word, something is going to happen.

The flip-side of it is, you have to be sure that God sent the word. Just because you see something wrong doesn’t mean you are the one who is sent to correct it. It doesn’t mean that when you see it, that moment is the right time for action. We need to always be in prayer and communion with the father and wait for accurate instructions in order to be effective. Jesus did everything at the appointed time. Even when Lazarus was sick, he didn’t rush to his bedside, although he had the power to heal him. He stayed on his course and at the appointed time he showed up and his ministry was effective. Lazarus was raised from the dead. Don’t be in such a hurry to point out people’s sins, and criticize their ways. Let God direct you so that when you release the word, the word will heal and deliver them.

Psalms 107:20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

And one last thing! God’s word is very simple. You don’t have to add or take anything away from it. It clearly states several listings of what is sin in our lives.

1Cor 6:9-10 NLT Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality,or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people—none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God.

The bible clearly tells is we can’t live in these things and inherit the kingdom. The message is very clear. You don’t have to threaten people because they are doing any of these things. You have to let people live the way that they choose to but let them know what the word says about it. If they don’t accept the truth, they will reap the consequences of their actions. The bible also tells us to restore those who make a mistake, not those who are living in sin. If you are choosing to live in sin, the wages of sin is death.(Rom 6:23)  If you make a mistake then repent and your brothers and sisters in Christ should help you get back on track.

Galatians 6:1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

In order to restore someone, it takes someone who is spiritual. If you are full of yourself, your anger, and your personal opinions you are not in the proper state of mind to restore anyone. You will bring them down and cause them to be more damaged then they already are. While you are busy telling them about themselves, you might find yourself in the listing below.

Galatians 5:19-21 When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

We have to be careful to consider our flaws while ministering to others because we could fall into the same things. We all have a responsibility to live the best that we know how. The more we read our word and develop a relationship with God, the more he will reveal the sin in our lives. And for those of us who live in sinful ways every and have not accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, I just pray that you will hear God and accept his word as truth and repent. He will change the way you view your life, your lifestyle, and he will change your final destination. Saints, get rid of your old mindset and take on the mind of Christ. We have work to do!!
