Being Single is not a Curse!

Our perspective of being single and being married is hilarious. Single people are dying to get married and married people are wishing they were still single! Either life is wonderful with God and miserable without him. Some equate single to being lonely. If you think you’re lonely now, wait until you are married. Having a husband does not cure loneliness, it magnifies it. It’s a miserable thing to have a mate that doesn’t make you their priority. You are hungry for all this ATTENTION from the man you’re married to and you don’t get it…..deal with your loneliness first. Only God can fill your void. But here are some amazing things about being single!

  1. Single people, you can come and go without answering to anyone. (I’m running to the store, be right back!)
  2. You can spend your money on anything you want without “Making a decision together.”
  3. You can come home from work and not have to worry about cooking for anyone. (Thank God for Zaxby’s lol)
  4. You don’t have to deal with another personality or mood swings, and trying to please somebody else. .
  5. You can lay out prostrate in the Lord, uninterrupted in any room of your house at any given time (Unless of course, you have children 😁) Mommy, why is your door locked? lol
  6. You can travel where you want! (If you have time off)
  7. You can live where you want! (eeny meeny miny moe)
  8. You can hang out with your girls all night long. As a matter of fact, you can have sleepovers and watch chick flicks like Baggage Claim, Just Wright, and Mother’s Day while eating a bunch of unnecessary calories! (From my lips to my hips, yay!!)

But seriously, singleness is what you make it to be. It can be amazing or it can me miserable! Enjoy it to the fullest because if you don’t, you will find yourself being one of those married people looking back at your single life, wishing you were single again. Being Single is not a curse, it’s a blessing! And once you master the art of singleness, you will move on to the ministry of marriage. Then you will want me to blog, “Being married is not a Curse!” Just kidding. All smiles and have a Happy Friday!

Wednesday! Worth Day!

Image result for worth it quotes

It’s Wednesday! Worth Day! I was wondering what value have you placed on your life? Have you limited the blessings you are entitled to? Have you blocked certain avenues that should be open in your life? God values us as his children. His love is not based on whether we are saved. He sent his son just to prove how much he loves us and wants us to be in fellowship with him. We are worth every thing God has for us. We choose to devalue our lives.

We are the ones who are so impatient that we are willing to accept a man who is married and claim he will be our husband after the divorce. We are the ones who are willing to be toyed with by a player who is out with two or three other side chicks. We are the ones who choose to remain a side chick instead of being the only wife. We are the ones who limit who God can use to speak into our lives because we don’t want to hear the truth. We are the ones who choose the sin we are tempted with over the escape we can be rescued with. We are the ones who are willing to accept anything that was better than the last thing, even though it’s not what God wants for us.

We don’t value ourselves the way God does. We don’t believe in ourselves the way God does. We don’t see ourselves the way God does. If we did, we would respect and honor ourselves the way God does. Don’t try to rush God into blessing you. Sometimes he will give you want you want instead of what you’re worth. Have patience and serve until he produces your blessing. Today is Wednesday, worth day! Are you worth waiting for? And are you waiting for what you are worth?

Do You Believe?

waytruthlife

One thing about it, people will either believe or they won’t. It is not our job to convince people that Jesus is real. We are called to preach the gospel, the good news! The first step to their salvation is believing. Believing is done by faith. Those who desire Christ will accept him. Those who don’t, won’t. There are plenty of people in the world for us to tell the good news to. Don’t get side tracked by those who want to take up your time asking you to prove that “He is.” They want to debate his existence and challenge his wondrous works. Jesus never wasted his time proving to people who he was, he just ministered according to his father’s will. People were healed, delivered, and set free along his journey. If Jesus didn’t explain himself, why do we try to explain who he is. Stay focused on the mission. Too many souls are at stake. Along your journey, preach the gospel and watch lives change before your very eyes. Those who don’t want him will walk away sadly, just as the rich man did. Pray for laborers in the vineyard. Pray for the harvest. Pray for a revival in the land. Most of all, don’t forget that Jesus is the answer. He is the way, the truth and the life! It is up to you to make the choice to believe. Do you believe?

It’s Okay To Relax

relax

The next time something bad happens in your life, immediately ask yourself, “What can I do to fix it?” If there is something within your reach and within your power to fix the situation, then by all means do it. If there is nothing you can do, just smile. Look up to heaven and say, “Lord, there is nothing I can do about it, but I know you can.” Thank him and go on with the rest of your day. It is perfectly okay to be at peace when the situation dictates that you should flip out. Decide to have a peaceful day. Find some time to relax while God is working on your behalf.

We Have Work To Do!

6c1651151add089d1149567655259903I have been thinking about God and how many people in the world believe in God. The troublesome thought was how the same people don’t believe his word. Many people go to church and have heard the word, but there is a thin line between hearing the truth and knowing the truth. Just because you hear it doesn’t mean you know it. Sadly, that is the state that many people are in. They believe in God, have read or heard his word, but have not accepted it as truth. People of God, we have such a great task ahead of us. We cannot be discouraged by those who reject the word. We can’t be angry because people don’t want to hear the word. The only thing we are responsible for is living the word, teaching the truth, and loving with an unconditional love. Once you release the word of truth, trust God’s plan and watch him work.

Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

When God sends his word out, it will accomplish the mission it is sent to do. We just get anxious because we don’t see the results right away. God does not bluff. He speaks and it is so. So, while you are on your mission at work, at school or even in the grocery store…release the word that God gives you. It may be something simple like, “Jesus loves you.” If he sends you with a word, something is going to happen.

The flip-side of it is, you have to be sure that God sent the word. Just because you see something wrong doesn’t mean you are the one who is sent to correct it. It doesn’t mean that when you see it, that moment is the right time for action. We need to always be in prayer and communion with the father and wait for accurate instructions in order to be effective. Jesus did everything at the appointed time. Even when Lazarus was sick, he didn’t rush to his bedside, although he had the power to heal him. He stayed on his course and at the appointed time he showed up and his ministry was effective. Lazarus was raised from the dead. Don’t be in such a hurry to point out people’s sins, and criticize their ways. Let God direct you so that when you release the word, the word will heal and deliver them.

Psalms 107:20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

And one last thing! God’s word is very simple. You don’t have to add or take anything away from it. It clearly states several listings of what is sin in our lives.

1Cor 6:9-10 NLT Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality,or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people—none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God.

The bible clearly tells is we can’t live in these things and inherit the kingdom. The message is very clear. You don’t have to threaten people because they are doing any of these things. You have to let people live the way that they choose to but let them know what the word says about it. If they don’t accept the truth, they will reap the consequences of their actions. The bible also tells us to restore those who make a mistake, not those who are living in sin. If you are choosing to live in sin, the wages of sin is death.(Rom 6:23)  If you make a mistake then repent and your brothers and sisters in Christ should help you get back on track.

Galatians 6:1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

In order to restore someone, it takes someone who is spiritual. If you are full of yourself, your anger, and your personal opinions you are not in the proper state of mind to restore anyone. You will bring them down and cause them to be more damaged then they already are. While you are busy telling them about themselves, you might find yourself in the listing below.

Galatians 5:19-21 When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

We have to be careful to consider our flaws while ministering to others because we could fall into the same things. We all have a responsibility to live the best that we know how. The more we read our word and develop a relationship with God, the more he will reveal the sin in our lives. And for those of us who live in sinful ways every and have not accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, I just pray that you will hear God and accept his word as truth and repent. He will change the way you view your life, your lifestyle, and he will change your final destination. Saints, get rid of your old mindset and take on the mind of Christ. We have work to do!!

Christmas Gift for Your Youth!

King
We are always trying to get our youth to listen to music that will lift up their spirit and not feed them all of this worldly garbage. I had the privilege of not only listening to this CD, but watching Meria Shantez minister at a youth revival. She poured her heart into this CD as well as the youth revival. The Holy Spirit came in like a flood and young people were instantly healed and delivered. I am not into gospel rap, but I love this CD, “KingzKidd.” It has an anointing that destroys yokes. Some of the songs brought tears to my eyes. Some of them made me smile. It is very uplifting. You don’t know what your teenager is going through that they are not telling you about. This CD ministers in so many areas your child may be facing. Some of them you may not even be ready to deal with, but I guarantee they are probably dealing with them. Go buy this CD quickly. Some of my personal favorites are Survivor, Chosen, and Brand New. Our kids are chosen, they have survived so many things, and our desire is for them to be brand new in Christ Jesus!

You can find it on ITunes, Amazon, Cdbaby, or Google Play. Ok, get off Facebook, Twitter, and WordPress….go download and buy the CD! Thanks for your support and I know you will enjoy it. KingzKidd by Meria Shantez
