Single Women! Married Women! Unequally Yolked!

Being unequally yolked can be one of the hardest relationships you will ever be in. Single women are waiting on a true man of God. Married women are waiting on their husbands to get saved. The whole process can be so frustrating. I wrote this book to inspire people all over the world. There are some biblical principals that will not only give you the strength, but give you the wisdom to walk out the emotional roller coaster of an unequally yolked marriage. It also gives insight to the single woman on what to expect if she marries an unsaved man. It is so much better to wait on God for the right man for you. This book is nothing but real. You need to add this to your library and bless a friend with a copy too. Help me get the word out so others can be inspired too.

“This book gives a wonderful, transparent view of the first years of marriage despite the details of your unique marriage. I wish I had had this book at the beginning of my marriage. I felt some of the same emotions and had some of the same thoughts however my husband and I were both believers but I still remember having most of the same thoughts and emotions. I chose to hold on!
Thank you for being transparent in your experience and sharing! So many times we think that we are the only one going through tough times and that it is unnatural but by sharing your experience many will be able to relate and will be able to make a clear choice to hold on!
This is a great bridal shower gift or a newlywed.” ~Kacey Ferguson

***WARNING! IT’S A DISTRACTION***

We hear it over and over again, that you must be extremely careful with distractions. The minute you make up your mind to start walking out the plans God has for you is the moment people will start to pull on you. You are thinking God sent them for you to minister to or pour into and they were sent to suck the life out of you. You have to know the difference between God sent and some just went. Only God can save. Only God can heal. Only God can deliver. He may use us as vessels, but if he is not in the midst of what you are doing, all parties will suffer. Do not get ahead of God by trying to save somebody that God has not called out of their sin. The Bible specifically let’s us know that if he is calling them out, they will come out!

John 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

There is an appointed time for everything. You have to let people make up their mind on their own terms. God assigns some to plant, some to water, and eventually he will do the increasing. Don’t burn yourself out with people who have no intentions of changing their life. You have to always remember what you were like when you were in the world. When you were ready to give it up, you did. But as long as you were doing what you did, you weren’t thinking about church, the preacher, or even the scriptures you once heard. Use wisdom when ministering to people. Make sure you are advancing the kingdom and not hindering your own personal walk.

John 10:28-29 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.

Once again, he is letting us know, his children belong to him. They will not be plucked out of his hand. He will give them life that will last  an eternity. Start leading people to Christ and stop trying to be their Savior. Believe me, if he is calling them, they will answer. Continue to love, pray, fast, and be an example of Christ. It will not only save you time and heartache, but it will make ministering more effective when it is time. Be led! Be love! But don’t be distracted!

Ready, Set, Go!

Get up and do it today! Whatever your “it” is, start now. Go for a a short walk. Clean out your closet. Start writing that book. Drink water instead of juice. Pray for a few minutes. Read at least one scripture. We all have a desire to achieve something in our life. It will NEVER happen if you don’t begin. We get discouraged because we don’t see results quick enough. Don’t be in a rush to see results. Just focus on taking the first step. Even if it takes all year to accomplish it, slow progress is better than no progress. Stop making excuses and start making it happen. Ready, Set , Go!

You Will Never Know The Outcome Until You Come Out

The-Butterfly-is-ProofContinue to go through the process and let God determine the finished product. We may not be butterflies, but we certainly have felt some of the emotions represented by their change. When it feels like you are at your lowest, you may be a caterpillar crawling. When you feel alone and in the dark, you may be in a cocoon transforming into something more beautiful. When you come out, spread your wings and fly for the world to see the beautiful creation that you are. Have a wonderful Sunday and remember, you will never know the outcome until you come out!!

What did I miss?

What did I miss?

What did I miss?

If you were in school and received a test paper back with an “F”, but did not see any Red check marks, what would you think? I am sure you would want to know which ones you missed. You would also want to know, what is the correct answer. Good teachers are pretty thorough in what they do. They teach, test, and make corrections, so you will know what you missed. So, if God gave you a test and you got the answers wrong, wouldn’t you want to know what you missed? Wouldn’t you want to know what is the correct answer and how to get it right? .

That is what apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers are sent to do in the body of Christ. If they see you doing wrong, let them correct you. Don’t get so easily offended when you get corrected. Be thankful that God cared enough to send them your way. Don’t get upset because you want to do it your way and it is not working out. God’s word and Holy Spirit will lead you and guide you into all truths. All you need to do is follow them.

Sometimes, we are too lazy to read the Bible for ourselves, so God will use church leaders to show us the right answer. There is only one right answer to receive eternal everlasting life, and that is through Jesus Christ. So, if you have any answer outside of that, you will fail the test. Receive your corrections in love and grow gracefully in God. Smile because God will let you retake the test over and over again, until you get it right. This is what we call grace and repentance. So, if you miss something this time, you can get it right next time. Just don’t miss the same thing twice. Learn from your mistakes and turn away from your sins. Don’t go through life wondering what you missed. Study the word if God and get it right, today!

Eph 4:11-15 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
