There Is No Such Thing As Too Much Prayer!

Image result for pray

There is no such thing as too much prayer. Prayer is our communication with God. He never feels like we talk to him too much. Take advantage of his desire to hear from you. Talk to him about the good, the bad, and the ridiculous. He wants to hear your voice. Spend your time talking to the one who created you for his good pleasure. Imagine if we had our hands involved in creating our mate or our future mate. We would design them to love us, cater to us, listen to us talk, laugh at our stories, comfort us when we are down, take care of our every need. That sounds like the perfect mate. Well guess what, we serve a perfect God and he is all that and more! So, talk to him! Tell him you love and adore him because he did have a hand in creating us. He knows what he designed us to do. We are perfect to him, through Jesus Christ. So pray, pray, and pray some more…God adores your relationship with him! We may talk too much with the people around us, but we can never pray too much.

What Really Matters

Image result for what really matters quotes

It is easy to lose focus on what really matters. In life there will be little hang ups and let downs that we all have to deal with. There will be times when you can’t believe what you see or hear. You will question things that happen in your life, and in the process you sometimes lose sight of what really matters. Everything in life serves a purpose. Everything you face is designed to build you up or break you down. It is all in how you perceive things, receive things, and respond to them! Keep your eyes on Christ and what he has planned for you. Be sure about who he says you are and you will be steadfast in every directive he has given you. If you are not sure just serve him until he reveals it. Be careful of the snares and traps the enemy has set up for you. Any thing that opposes the order of God is against God. This includes our flesh, carnal minded desires, the devil, the world, and people who pull us off the path God has for us. Even Abraham had to leave his country and kin to become the father of many nations. Don’t be afraid to let go of the familiar to obtain greatness! It may not be easy or comfortable, but the latter will surely be greater. Nothing else matters if it is not the will of God. He has a plan, choose to fulfill it. When it is all said and done, what really matters is were you a good and faithful servant with your name written in the book of life.

Negative Nancy Will Bring You Down!

Image result for the bigger picture quotes

Have you ever had a great day until someone came and dumped all there garbage on you? Be really careful about negative people. If particular people bring you down every time you are around them, they might just be a Negative Nancy. If they never have anything positive to say in a bad situation or even a good situation, be careful. We truly have the power of life and death in our tongue. We must speak positive and expect good things to happen in our life. We must connect with other believers who can agree with the will of God for our life. There is a huge difference between someone who is grieving and sorrowful than a Negative Nancy. A grieving person needs comfort. Negative Nancy just likes to spill out garbage and gossip. God is a loving God. He wants us to have joy and peace. Walk in his peace today and leave the Negativity Nancy and your negative thoughts behind! #HappyTuesday

Behind Enemy Lines!

behind enemies lines

We need to ask ourselves whose side are we really on? The love for God has been lost in the midst of the battles. The compassion for God’s people has been traded for frustrations. The preaching of the gospel has been substituted for the preaching of prosperity. It is time to refocus. Our number one mission is to accept Jesus Christ and then share the good news with someone else. If your focus is anything but soul saving, you have been compromised by the enemy. Jesus never did anything that was motivated by money, cars, promotions, houses, more, more and more! He always took care of the need and the soul. He made sure the individual was offered salvation. Some gladly received, and others sadly walked away. When we try to motivate people to accept Jesus Christ to achieve things and operate in POWERS, we have just crossed behind enemy lines. Jesus did not shed his blood for us to obtain things. Obtaining things is a bonus! When we become good stewards, we will reap what we sow. Yes, he came that we would have life and have it more abundantly. But right before he says that, he is talking about the thief:

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

He talks about a real enemy who finds pleasure in stealing our joy, our peace, even our faith. He talks about a real enemy who kills our dreams, our loved ones, and even our ministry. He talks about a real enemy who desires to destroy every good thing about us including our soul. So, do you really think the abundant life is narrowed down to material things? No, it’s about an everlasting life! It’s about living and not just existing. It’s about liberty and not bondage. The blood of Jesus is worth far more than material living. So stop hanging around the enemy’s camp oblivious to the mission God had for Jesus and the great commission we are called to.  As long as we aren’t introducing people to Christ and showing them what deliverance is, we are behind enemy lines. Let’s get on the Lord’s side, get focused, and get to work!
