The Mind of Christ!

Philippians-2-5

Renewing our thoughts is an everyday occurrence. We should all have the mind of Christ. We strive to have the mind to show love, forgiveness, kindness, and such but what about the mind to endure suffering. We must take on every attribute of Christ, not just the ones that make us look good. It looks good to give something to someone who doesn’t have, but suffering is ugly. It hurts. It is shameful. It is wrapped up in all sorts of emotions. Lord, let us accept everything that comes with the journey we are on. For our weak areas, please be our strength. Most of all, Lord, give us the mind to endure hardness as a good soldier.  Lord, we need you. We need the mind of Christ!

Always Worth the Wait!

Very few have the testimony of how they waited on God for a godly mate. I don’t even have that testimony. Neither one of us were saved in the beginning, but the wait after that was well worth it. A godly marriage is rare. People are being catfished. People are impatient. More people need to be willing to wait on God to put their marriage together. I know it seems long, but the wait will be nothing compared to how long it will last. Waiting on God is ALWAYS worth the wait.

You Are Valuable!

c1532ad37063a20fc9872f84c1d2290eLadies and Gentlemen, you should never be someone’s last choice, last chance, or desperate attempt for a relationship. You are valuable. You are worth more. You are priceless in God’s eyes. Do not let anyone devalue you and don’t you devalue another by making them your “Last Chance” mate. Somebody will want you first. They will see you and know you are worth more than they could ever offer you. They will see you and know that there is no one in the world who could fill your shoes. God created each of us perfectly and there is someone in this word who will see you just as he does. They won’t be perfect, but they will be the perfect fit. Remember, you are valuable simple because you were created by the hand of God.

You are worth it!

In the beginning, when God created, he saw that his creations were good. As we begin our journeys in life, terrible things happen to us to not only make us feel unworthy, but to limit our sense of what worth means. There is no amount of sin, abuse, or even self sabatoge that will ever change your worth to God. In fact, he measures your value with the priceless blood of his son. So, the next time you feel undeserving of a position, of love, of blessings, or of a mate sent by God, remember, YOU ARE WORTH IT!
