Forgive Yourself

We spend so much time captured in the prison of our own mind. We have made mistakes which cost us a great price. We have let down people in our lives as well as our own self. Let me help you get free. GOD FORGIVES YOU and you should too. One reason it is so hard to forgive ourselves is because we don’t understand the love of the father. We cannot see that he doesn’t hold our sins and mistakes against us. Unfortunately, the natural consequences we face are a constant reminder of our sin or mistakes. Another reason we stay captive is because we want to “prove” that we are not our mistake or our poor choices. So then, we live in a manner angry with everyone who knows our mistakes, thinking they are judging us. We live to “prove” to people we are better than what we did. We live bargaining with God. Lord if you will just fix this, I will never do it again. Well, how about this, Lord I will never do it again, period. Move forward. Press toward the mark. The mark is ahead of you, not behind you. As long as you keep living in the prison of your past, you will never have know the freedom of today and tomorrow. It may scare you to let go of the pain of your mistakes because you have carried them so long, but if you do, you will know what the joy of the Lord really is. You will know what freedom is. Let God be your God. He forgives you and he loves you. Forgive yourself and move forward. Right now you may not see what God has for you, but if you let go of the pain, he will deliver you. There are blessings waiting for you. Close the door to your past failures and step into your present blessings!

Love is Patient Love is Kind!

Love is a lot of things, according to 1 Cor 13:4-8, but how well do we display love? The funniest thing is we have patience to deal with our coworkers. We manage to show respect even when we are frustrated. We are patient when it comes to helping others in our lives. BUT!! When it comes to our own spouse, we can be very short tempered and impatient. The love that you show to the people outside, should be multiplied towards the ones in your house. They should never get the leftovers of your day. Purpose in your heart to really sit and enjoy every moment with your spouse and your children. If you can bite your tongue on the job, do it at home too. Love is patient. Love is kind. Love the ones who love you most. There is a reward in the joy they find just from being loved by you.

Monday Morning Motivation

James 4:6-7 Submit to God first. Then stand against the enemy. Resisting does not mean to simply ignore. It means you are against, you oppose, and stand against. Position yourself firmly and let the enemy know where you stand. Once he recognizes he is in danger, he will flee to safety. The enemy is too comfortable with many due to a life of compromise and sin. The enemy will make his abode with you. There is no threat to him, it feels like home. Take your stance with God today! #submit #resist #stand

Monday Morning Motivation

We have reflected on the sacrificial love of Jesus. Do we display the same love towards one another? Laying down our life is an intentional action. We should walk purposed to give of ourselves and serving one another. When we get frustrated and annoyed when someone needs us, that is not the love of God. Let us ask for a clean heart and a right spirit and begin to walk in the love of Christ. His love for us is without limits and through him, we can love unconditionally. #nogreaterlove #sacrifice
