No one enters into a marriage expecting difficult times. No one expects to fall out of love with his/her spouse. No one expects to become the struggling and failing marriages that you see everyday. Then, one day you wake up and realize, you are them. All have experienced some type of hardship in marriage, but very few survive. We forget what the Bible says about love, forgiveness, kindness, mercy, etc. Those words do not excuse the wrong that may be done unto you. They do negin the process of restoration. We may not be able to foresee the tough times ahead, but we can determine in our heart that no matter what we face, we will make it through. We cannot say how long our troubles may last, but we do know they won’t last forever. We must remember to stand on the word even during times that we are standing alone. God can heal all things. God can renew all things. And remember, God can restore. When two become one is just the beginning. When two remain one, it’s a prize worth winning. Don’t lose hope. Don’t lose faith. Believe me, it is worth fighting for!
