A Broken Beauty

When was the last time you colored with a broken crayon? Just in case you may have forgotten what it was like, let me remind you. You may have to peel back the paper that covers the crayon to get a good use out of it. Sometimes it is harder to hold so it takes an extra effort. Sometimes we are like a broken crayon. God has to peel back what is covering our true colors in order to use us. He might even have to put forth an extra effort to hold us tightly. But ultimately, we produce a colorful picture when we let him use us. Don’t let your brokenness stop what you were created to do. He made you. He loves you. He can still use you!

Happy Mother’s Day!

No amount of words can express my love for the wonderful mothers in this world. Your efforts may go unnoticed while your sacrifices are limitless. The love you give goes beyond what one can see. If today passes by and you feel unappreciated, remember this: The gratitude that is or is not shown to you, does not determine how amazing you truly are. When the rewards on earth are few, just know that God is keeping your record.  He will surely repay you in full! Continue to love unconditionally and give as you have been create to do. God appreciates and he loves you. Happy Mother’s Day!
