Keep Moving!

I just wanted to send out a little encouragement. God is still in control, no matter how bad it looks right now. If you just stop for a moment and look at his track record in your life, you will see he has never failed you. You have been through things that should have killed you. You have faced situations that should have landed you in a psyche ward. But somehow, God brought you out. It is not time to give up. Don’t focus on your weakness and your disappointments. Find your strength in God. He has your best interest in mind. He wants you to succeed. If he didn’t think you would make it, he would have never let you face it. Trust him and and keep moving full speed ahead! You will succeed in Christ!

Today Will Be….

Today will be what you make of it. You can choose to respond with a smile or a frown. You can meditate on the problem or the solution. You can complain or you can give thanks. You can forgive or you can hold grudges. What kind of day will you choose to have? What kind of day will today be? Today will be……. a day of victory, because that is what I decree it to be!!

Happy Mother’s Day

From the time you carried your child in the womb, you were a concerned mom. Before you signed the adoption papers, you were a caring mom. From the time you brought your child home you with you, you were a nurturing mom. There is no book that tells you exactly how to be a mom, you just are. There are no instructions for raising the child that seems to be difficult to handle, you just do. There is no pay that can compensate your 24 hr a day job, you just work. But, there is a day  we especially want to celebrate you and all that you do. That day is today. You are a mother and and you are appreciated. So, with every hand written card you receive, the burnt toast and eggs, the nice jewelry, the dinners, the candy, the flowers, and the little hand prints made out of paint…know that it was all done in love and especially for you. With each little gift, somebody is trying to say, “Happy Mother’s Day!” Enjoy your day Moms, you deserve it!

Have a Blessed Friday!

Yes, it is Friday! Make it count. Don’t stress over work you won’t get finished. Don’t let your co-worker  add their drama to your life. Don’t over extend yourself with obligations you don’t want to commit to. Don’t neglect spending time with God and the ones you love. Most of all, don’t worry about anything you can’t fix. File it under “God’s got it” and enjoy your weekend! #HappyFriday

Did I Trip You Up?

One of the basic elements of Christianity is self-less living. When we look at the life of Jesus, we see a ministry all about others. He did not gain anything from his service. In fact, he suffered through his service, for you and me. We will all give an account of everything we do and everything we we say. You will encounter moments in your life where your desires may not necessarily be sin, but could cause your brother or sister to stumble and fall. Some of the places you go, movies you watch, songs you listen to, and people you hang around could have a babe in Christ confused about your stance in Christ. Are you willing to deny your flesh in order to progress the kingdom? Are you willing to give up some of your wants to save a soul? What have you done that could be questionable? I challenge you to evaluate you. Don’t look at anyone else. If a new Christian looked at your social media, would they know you are a Christian? If they peeked into your life would they see Christ? It is time to clean our lives up for the sake of ministry. We want to be available, effective, and accountable in everything we do. No, we are not the standard for godly living – The Bible is. No, we can’t control how other people see us – But we can control what we present to people. We are representatives of Christ and for that reason alone, we should raise up our standard. Don’t be a stumbling block. Be a stepping stone to help someone up and out of their sin.

He’s Saving You for Someone Better

I read this today and wanted to share it with you all. Be encouraged. God has something great for you.

When you are on a certain level, you cannot have what everyone else has. If he has called you to be more, your standard has to be different. Allow God to do a new thing in you. Stop questioning how and when God wants to bless you. There are certain sacrifices that you must endure.

It is written in Romans 12:1: “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service”.

It doesn’t take much do to what everyone’s doing. Set your self a part to receive more. Everything that’s fast is not always good. Delayed gratification is better than instant gratification. Instant coffee and food are not as good as the coffee and food that takes time to make and prepare. Do not get caught up in what everyone’s doing at…
