HAPPY SUNDAY!!

We should be glad about going into the house of the Lord. If you are not glad, then ask yourself why not. The Lord should dwell with you at all times. If you are not experiencing the joy of the Lord, you are missing out is so many ways. If something is blocking your desire to fellowship with other believers, it is time to figure out why. When you come together with other believers, celebration and worship should take place. The house of the Lord should be a place for people to learn, receive Christ, gain knowledge, instruction, and even direction in their lives. Get excited about God and remember what fellowship is all about. Go expecting something amazing to happen and receive a rhema word. Jesus loves you and he is inviting you to his house. Will you except his invitation to fellowship with other believers and to commune with him? Find a healthy place to worship this morning and experience the love of God and then you will be able to say you were “Glad” you went. Have a wonderful Sunday!

Are You Weighed Down?

Make this your prayer today. Our heart is like a vacuum cleaner, and it collects all kinds of junk. When a vacuum is full, it doesn’t function properly. It won’t pick up anything else and it even leaves a trail of trash behind. You have to empty a vacuum out on the regular basis. What is in your heart? Is it weighed down and full of junk? Have you reached your maximum capacity of how much junk you can handle? Are you spilling out trash along the way? Ask the Lord to create a clean heart in you, so you can function properly. Let him lift your burdens and all of your cares. Freely give them to him. As he removes the junk and renews your spirit, you will be able to glide through your day victoriously!

Wait “Up On” the Lord

I have said it once and maybe a hundred times. Waiting is not easy. Isaiah 40:31 reminds us that if we wait upon the Lord, he will renew our strength. This lets us know that if we are weary and never feeling rejuvenated, we are just waiting to see something happen, but not necessarily waiting upon the Lord. I like to think that “Up On” means literally up on the rock. I am waiting up on the word. I am waiting up on the Lord. In other words I am planted on a solid rock, and he is the source of my strength. Even if I hit rock bottom, he is that rock. I will never be alone or in a place the Lord is not with me, as long as I wait up on him. Don’t just wait for something to happen in your life. Wait on God to happen. Wait with expectancy and hope. Even when you are in the darkest of nights, his word is a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your path. It is time to stop waiting for anything and time to wait for the only thing, God! Let him renew your weary mind and strengthen your heart. Run on and don’t be weary. Walk and don’t faint. You shall reap in due season. So, I repeat, wait “Up On” the Lord!

Women in the Waiting Conference 2016

2016-Women's-Conference.jpg

If you haven’t had the opportunity to experience one of our life changing conferences, meet us there in April! This year’s theme is “Identity Crisis.” Have you ever asked God who am I and what am I supposed to be doing?  So often, we identify with who people say we are, who the devil says we are, but who is God saying you are?  You are so much more than the position you hold and the job you do. Let’s get stripped of anything that would give us a false identity. Make it your mission to know God and know yourself. Please go on the website for more information. http://www.bfmimpactcenter.com See you there!

We Can’t Pray Enough!

We can’t pray enough! I just heard a testimony about a christian couple whose marriage was over. The son and daughter walked away from God as a result. They were hurt and angry and didn’t want any part of any of it. Some older people encouraged the son to start praying for his mom and dad. Eventually, he turned to God and began to pray. After some time, the father called the mom up and apologized. He even told his son that he just needed to get right with God. How many marriages are in turmoil right now because somebody just needs to get right with God. Our selfish ways have consumed our relationships. Our pride has built a wall so high only God can knock it down. Our heart is so heavy that we can’t look up to see God anywhere. God wants to heal and fix everything in your life including your marriage. There is nothing to hard for God. When there are two people in a marriage and only one willing to pray, sometimes that is all you need. God plus one is the majority. We can’t pray enough. Begin to flood heaven with your concerns and your requests. Don’t just pray that God will fix your marriage but pray that God will fix you. Pray that he will save your souls and heal what is broken. He cares about what concerns you. Pray, pray,  and pray some more. And remember this one thing, when you pray, believe. Believe in hope against hope and wait until your change comes!

HAPPY MONDAY!

This is absolutely the best day to give God thanks! Why? Because we are blessed to be alive. Let us challenge ourselves to be more like Christ. Let us work on reducing our complaints as our first step to a new mindset. Every time you want to complain, put a dollar in a jar and see how much money you will save in one day alone. Instead of complaining, fill your mouth with praise. If it irritates you, say, “Lord thank you for teaching me through the process.” If it angers you, say,” Lord thank you for keeping me.” If it saddens you, say, “Lord thank you for being my joy in the time of sorrow.” We have to choose to change the way we think this year. A better attitude makes a better you. We must become more like Christ. The time is drawing near and we want to be ready to see our Lord and Savior. What can you challenge yourself to do to become a better you?
