This is a time like no other. It is a time to be diligent about the things of God. The bible clearly tells us we must watch and pray. We cannot turn a blind eye to the things we see around us. However, we are not always instructed to engage in every conflict either. Everything about God is strategic and we must be strategic as well. It seems like the littlest things come up to get us off track. It is one distraction after another and before you know it, you have your mind on everything but spiritual things. Get some quiet time to rid your mind of everything sent to take you off the path God has chosen for you. Renew your mind with the Word of God. Satan is restless and he is running out of time. You are going to be tried back to back, and he will not give up as long as it looks like he is knocking you down. Depending on what position you find yourself in, use it to your advantage. If you are standing, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. If you are kneeling, pray without ceasing. If you fall down, fall upon your face and cry out with a loud voice, then get back up again. We have the upper hand as long as we use our spiritual weapons and we keep moving forward. No matter how bad things seem, you are always in a good place in God. If your feelings tell you otherwise, remember this walk is by faith not feelings. Your feelings will turn a short trip into a long journey. Just ask the children of Israel. Focus on what is good and pray about what is not. Know that the world may look worse than it ever has, but we are still in a good place in God!
