It’s amazing the amount of effort we put into the things we want to accomplish. When we have a made up mind, we will do any and everything to make something happen. If it is not important to us, we will make an excuse. Are you growing in spiritual things as much as you are accomplishing in natural things? What is God requiring from you in this season? Every time God asks something of you, how do you respond? Are you one who is making excuses or making it happen? We usually make excuses when we don’t want to do something or when we are afraid to do something.
Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Our Christian walk has to be free willed and by faith. Anything you aim to achieve will require sacrifice from you, and I repeat, it will also require faith. Don’t fear the great things you are able to accomplish. Don’t fear the “what if’s”. They are your biggest enemies. Don’t excuse yourself from your destiny. Go out and do it! Stop making the excuses today. The ending of your excuses is the beginning of your growth.
