The Cute Little Fox Is Destroying Your Vineyard!

We spend a lot of time focusing on the big things and it’s the cute little innocent things that are destroying our lives. When God speaks to you and tells you to cut something out of your life, do it right away. Don’t hesitate. Don’t rationalize it. Don’t entertain it another day. There is a reason God is telling you to get it out of your life. In this picture, the little foxes look so cute, but the longer they stay in the vineyard, the more damage they will cause. They could destroy one little bunch of grapes or an entire vineyard. When you don’t respond to God’s instructions for your life, it is then called disobedience. Disobedience is sin and the wages of sin is death. I don’t know too many people who are willing to pay that price for a little disobedience.

Tit 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

Like the scripture says, we claim to know God, but deny him in our actions. Let’s stop giving God lip service and start serving him with all that we have. Remember, your convictions are your convictions. If he told you to stop wearing certain clothes, stop watching certain shows, stop hanging around certain people, or stop eating certain foods- walk in obedience and let it go. (Speaking from experience) The word of God speaks specifically on some things. Our convictions cover everything else that we are not sure of.

Phil 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Obedience is so much better than sacrifice. If you don’t obey his instructions you are going to sacrifice far more than you are willing to and far more than you can afford to give up. Stop looking at everything like it is innocent. Remember, Satan is not going to come to you with flashing lights and sirens announcing that what you are doing is sin. He is going to come subtly and incognito looking like a cute little fox. And before you know it, that cute little fox is destroying your vineyard and eventually your life. Heed the voice of God and continue to grow in his grace. Be encouraged and keep the faith!

Don’t be fooled!

I have been pondering over things going on in this world. I have been shocked, reminded, and even numb to some of the things. One thing I have not been is deceived. God is real and so is Satan. As Christians, we have taken a passive role and have learned to accept everything and everyone for what we hope them to be. When in fact, scripture clearly tells us that the enemy will attack right within the church. We make excuses for Christian leaders who blatantly live in sin. We tolerate worldliness in the church by calling it acceptance. We allow sin to spread because someone said, “Don’t judge Me.” This is exactly what Satan desires in our churches. We look like and act like the world and there is no longer a difference.

2 Corinthians 11:14-15 And no marvel; for Satan himslef is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is ano great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

He has strategically placed his followers in the church. They preach, they teach, and they even speak in tongues. Any person who makes excuses for sin is under the influence of Satan. You must take on the mind of Christ. You must be diligent and sober and aware of what and who is in operation. Everyone that names Jesus Christ is not a believer. Get in relationship with Jesus. Study your word. Try every spirit and see if it is of God or not.

1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Stop accepting any and everything that is said in the church. Study for yourself. This is the time to stand up for righteousness. Choose which side you are on. There is no in between, gray area, or fence to sit on. You have to make up your mind today. Don’t be fooled! God is real and so is Satan! Truly accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and get in a bible teaching church. Get in a church that will teach holiness and expose the enemy’s tactics. Jesus loves you and wants to give you the gift of eternal life. Will you accept his gift today?

Take Some Time For You!

You have been taking care of everyone and everything. Take some time to take care of you. You can only give out what you already have. Wouldn’t it be nice to be filled up with love, joy, peace, happiness, rest, and the goodness of Jesus Christ and in return you can share that with someone else.

Matt 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

When you don’t take care of you, you are not showing yourself love. Love is an action word. Do something for you so you can genuinely do something for someone else. Let this Friday be the beginning of a weekend retreat. You don’t have to spend a dime. Just rest, get in the presence of God read his word, and do something you love. You will be surprised at the type of witness you will become.Have a happy Friday and a wonderful weekend!

Be Blessed!

Speak and Listen

There will be times that people are not going to want to hear what you have to say, but your words should not annoy the people around you all the time. When you speak you should always have something fruitful to say. Your words should edify and bring life. Even words of correction will yield good fruit when properly stated. Negativity has no place in the mouth of a believer.

Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

There will be times that you won’t feel like being a listening ear, but you should not ignore people or come off as rude just because you don’t feel like listening. You may be the key to their healing or their deliverance just by making yourself available.

James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray for one another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Not only should you speak life, but you should listen and pray. Life is full of ups and downs, but God has a plan in everything. He uses people like you and me to shed a little light in the dark times. Be that voice which ministers grace. Be the ears that listen in the time of need. Be available and let God be glorified.
